Santa 2009

Christmas crafts

We went to an activity at the local elementary school where Tyler and Kelsie got to make some Christmas crafts. I decided to take pictures BEFORE we left - seeing as these things sometimes encounter accidents on the way home.

Decorations in Cody

Well, we helped decorate Grandma Wiles' tree over Thanksgiving break so we wouldn't have to set things up in Rexburg for only 2 weeks. However, I changed my mind, and we decorated anyways!!! Thank goodness for pre-lit trees: it took all of 1 hour to set up Christmas in our apartment.

Decorating the tree at Grandma Wiles' house

Tyler and Kelsie got to help decorate Grandma Wiles' tree right before we left.

The Saturday following Thanksgiving, we got to be there when Tara and Mycheal went through the temple. I'm grateful for this wonderful family I married into, and am so proud of those two!

There were a few more aunts and uncles and Grandma Betty, but we all took awhile coming out. There is nothing better than being in the temple with the people you love!!!

Fun in McDonalds

The drive from Rexburg to Burlington can be long during the winter. This time, however, we fared better than past trips. We decided to get a car dvd player with two screens for the back of each headrest. Hands down, the best $100 we've spent in a long time. Also, Aunt Tara rode in the back, and she is always super patient with fussy kids. These pics are from our stop in Riverton. I didn't get any of Tyler because he was in too big of a hurry to play. Too bad my eyes are closed on this first one!

Thanksgiving Preschool

A few of us parents have been rotating doing preschool at our houses. I got the preschool before thanksgiving, which was fun. We were pilgrims and Indians, and we learned about the first thanksgiving. It's fun watching Tyler and his friends learn and play.

How can they be comfortable????

Tyler's 3rd Birthday Party

Like many crazy parents before us, we succumbed to the temptation to invite the entire nursery class to Tyler's 3rd Birthday Party. We handed out 17 invitations (and had about 14 kids come)- crazy, huh? But the kids sure had fun!!! Thank goodness Grandma Wiles, Aunt Tara, Uncle Mycheal, and Aunt Julia were there!
