Baby stuff blah blah

So technically, I guess I am full-term now. As to being ready to have a baby? NOT so much... but on the other hand, I'm sick of being preggers in the summer. Schane doesn't even want to LOOK at names, so our name list is about 40-50 names long. He will eliminate 75% within the first 2 minutes of looking. I guess we're just bringing the name book with us to the hospital.... Hmmm.... the next few weeks are going to be interesting. On the positive side: WE HAVE INSURANCE!!! YES! YES! YES! It kicked in August 1. The ultrasound on Aug 2 showed that my placenta preevia went away... but my placenta is still low-lying. So the doc said that I might have to get an emergency C-section if I'm bleeding to much. I've come to really appreciate my first two pregnancies and deliveries.

More than likely (knowing my posting pattern), my next post will be of Baby Boy Wiles.
'Til then...

Enjoy the end of your summer!!!!

riding bikes

Two weeks ago Kelsie learned how to pedal her bike. YES!!! She has been pretty frustrated for a few months. Last week we took off Tyler's training wheels. He is pretty proud, and so are we!!!!

Tyler and the Dentist

We found out in June that Tyler had 6 cavities we needed to take care of. We were really hoping he would do OK with the dentist here (otherwise we needed to go to Casper for a Pediatric Dentist - that is 4 hours away). Well - he did GREAT. Dr Ruesch said he did better than most 6 or 7 year olds. Anyways - glad that too is DONE.

July= Swimming and Soccer

July was full of swimming lessons (3 times a week) and a soccer class for Tyler (2 times a week). While it was good to get us out of the house, I'm kinda glad July is done!!! Tyler can swim under the water (diving for toys), but I'm not so sure he can keep himself afloat yet - that will come with subsequent lessons I guess. Kelsie loves the water and has learned how to hold onto the edge of the pool and move along it to a ladder to climb out. She still hasn't mastered not swallowing water when she ducks under, but that too will come with practice!!!

Pioneer Day Activities

We went to the Burlington Parade and Pioneer Day Program in the morning. Our ward had a dinner and a "kids parade" (where they ride around the church) in the evening. The Murpheys brought their 2-day-old baby goats for the kids to pet. Overall, a very fun and full day!!!

Rumble Park

Misc pics from July

Afternoon nap on Mom's bed.

1 hour of silence during nap time = Tyler making piles out of my post-its on my bed.

We discovered "The Rumble Park" just outside of Cody. I think we might be visiting it at least monthly come winter-time!!! The kids just have a blast!

This is the grass right behind our apartment. This doe and her babies come down to munch almost every evening. That's one thing about Cody: you always have to be aware when driving because deer are EVERYWHERE in town - who needs a lawnmower?

Just watching a movie - like our "stadium seating"?
