I posted a lot this time, so you'll have to hit the "older" button at the bottom to see it all.

As a little update: I am officially HALF WAY through this pregnancy. NO, we don't know what the gender is, b/c we don't have insurance. I am waiting until June/July to go to the doctor and get the ultrasound (a sure-fire way to be put on a doctor NO-NO list). In any case, I'm not sure if we'll find out the gender even then, because by that time we might as well wait 2 more months and have a surprise. I guess it will depend on my frame of mind that day.

We are moving (YESSSS!) to a different apartment around May 1 (Happy 6th anniversary, Honey, let's celebrate by MOVING!). Our new apartment is smaller, but MUCH newer (like 30 years newer), and I'm told the management is good at keeping up their properties. Our current apartment is old, needs painted, cleaned, (TORN down)--take your pick. The management blames everything that needs to be fixed on US- "we've never had that problem before - that's never broken before - what did you do to it?" News flash - things are BOUND to break after more than 30 years!

So that's us. It's 6:25 and Schane is heading off to work.

Why I'm posting at 5 am

So I couldn't sleep.

I couldn't remember if I already took my Unisom, so I had to go without - guess what? I must not have taken it. Seems like every time I'm pregnant, if I don't take unisom I never slip into that DEEP sleep - I just drowse all night and am easy to awaken and have a hard time falling back asleep: a recipe for being sick all the next day. Kelsie fell out of her bed at like 3:30 am, and I finally got up at 4:30 b/c I just couldn't get back to sleep.

Today should be "interesting" to say the least.

Cloud 9

YESSSS!!!!! I finally have a car of my own. Schane no longer has to use his breaks at work to drop off the car so I can go somewhere with the kiddos. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO nice!!! We got a Chrysler Town & Country with 95k in good condition for under our budget. Thank you to the 80 year old man who wanted a newer model!!! DOUBLE thank you to Lynn and Judy for watching our kids for 2 nights and 2 days so we could go to the temple and car shop in Billings!

Clifford's visit

Clifford visited our library Monday morning. I didn't really get any good pictures, but--you know me--I posted them anyways. We really have a great children's dept at the library - we usually go to the Wednesday story time because they do a craft afterwards. Tyler was SOOO excited for Clifford to visit - he asked me if Clifford was bringing his "person", and if Clifford would be able to FIT inside the library. I think he was a little disappointed with how little Clifford was, but oh well.

Looks like I caught Tyler mid-pick. We are constantly reminding him not to pick his nose, it's what he does when he's not paying attention - like a girl twirling her hair or something. Obviously, suggestions are welcome.

Random Pic

Despite appearances, my children are still NOT potty-trained. Patience. Definitely a lesson in patience.

So many "pretties"

Did you know I thought barrettes were called "pretties" until college? Kelsie got some pretties in her easter basket. She kept handing me more to put in her hair - it was good entertainment.

I love how happy she is in this one - I can tell I caught her mid-laugh, which I rarely do - she likes to pose a lot.

Egg Hunt

Sorry about the faint background squeal - our camera is puttering out. Of course it probably didn't help that I left it on top of Mom's van a year ago and it flew off - I should be grateful it still works, huh?

Easter Egg Hunt - it was more than a little cold!!!

Easter Morning in Burlington

Gotta have the peep face-stuffer pics - I think this is going to be a recurring picture over the years!

You have to give him SOME points for relocating to the couch - plus, it was like 7 in the morning on his day to sleep in.

Grandma way a lot better about letting the kids do the dying. When I did it, I mostly just let them pick the color. Kelsie practically THREW the eggs into the cups (she only broke a few). It was a BAD idea to try to move the mugs away from her, as she JERKED them back, usually spilling dye all over the counter. Tyler's eggs were all "unique" colors, because he liked to try them in all different mugs - a lot of browns.

Painting Easter "Baskets"

Easter Prep in Cody

Judy had some easter shopping to do in Cody, and I had a plethera(sp?) of sugar cookie dough to roll out, bake, and frost. Tallon and Kristen were very good about not eating too many. MY kids, on the other hand, had a VERY healthy dinner of sugar cookies (or in Kelsie's case, mostly straight frosting).

I think Kelsie put like an inch of frosting on this - it was the only cookie she frosted before she opted to stop frosting the cookies and start frosting her tongue.

The Barker tongue (though I found out that Judy's kids do that too). The one below is a little blurry, but I just love how it is poking out of the side of his mouth.

Ummm...I was amazed at how bright the colors turned out, and was wondering why most of the eggs were peeling a little bit. Found out a few days later at Judy's house that you're supposed to add WATER to the mix - I guess I stopped reading the instructions before I got to that part. 3 tablespoons of vinegar didn't seem like enough liquid in the mug...so I added more until it looked right. So if you want eggs that look like ours, remember--STRAIGHT vinegar, no water!
